Alex Temple is a composer and performer whose music is defined most by its lack of definition – namely, her love for connecting things that are not supposed to be put together. Her music plays with the boundary between the funny and the frightening, telling tales of forgotten histories. This program features works that showcase a wide variety of her stylistic interests, blurring the boundaries of genre. loadbang will perform Temple's Diadem.

Transcending the constraints of a single role, Mark Applebaum is an accomplished composer, performer, improviser, electroacoustic instrument builder and jazz pianist. His wide range of skills and interests are apparent in his compositions, which are as wildly experimental as they are stylistically diverse. No two scores in this program are alike, each combining elements of graphic and traditional notation. The concert also features performances by Applebaum himself on piano and electronics. loadbang will perform Applebaum's Administocracy.

Transcending the constraints of a single role, Mark Applebaum is an accomplished composer, performer, improviser, electroacoustic instrument builder and jazz pianist. His wide range of skills and interests are apparent in his compositions, which are as wildly experimental as they are stylistically diverse. No two scores in this program are alike, each combining elements of graphic and traditional notation. The concert also features performances by Applebaum himself on piano and electronics. loadbang will perform Applebaum's Administocracy.
